Working from home and I'm required to use Zoom. When I initially installed it, the camera was working. Today I had to move my system to another room and now Zoom is unable to access my camera for some reason.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Hi Julia, I am having the exact same problem, with my desktop workstation. Have checked drivers, and everything offered here.

If you get any other suggestions, please let me know. All app permissions were enabled, so I tried the reset option and rebooted the computer. Still getting the same message: Zoom is unable to detect a camera. That is the one option I did not try, only because no where does it say the camera will be reinstalled with the driver or is it only the driver needed? Sounds silly, but I rarely have to delete or uninstall, makes me a little nervous.

My new "work" Zoom account does not detect my built-in webcam I reached out to Zoom for a fix, in case it's a multiple-account issue Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community. Hi, Can you please check if the Camera driver is detected in the Device Manager? And if it is then we need to uninstall it then reboot. This will reload its driver. Here is how to do it. Here the steps to completely remove a Device off your computer. Step 1. Step 2. Select Device Manager. Step 3. Expand the entry Cameras or Imaging devices. Right-click the problematic device and select Uninstall device. Step 4.

You may need to check the option Delete the driver software for this device, and then click the Uninstall button. Step 5. Reboot the computer. Good morning! I tried this and now the camera does not even show up on the device list anymore. The latest 10 update trashed it so I tried the uninstall.

Big mistake. Now I have no camera and no way to scan for the device or update the driver. Not happy windows! If anyone can tell me how to get the camera back I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for providing this information. Tried it, but it also did not work. Here's the interesting part: I have a "personal" Zoom account and the camera functions just fine on that!

Thanks again, Julia. Thank you for that information, if the personal account works with the camera then it might be some settings in your Work Zoom account need to reconfigure. There is an advise in Zoom website that you might need to reinstall the application.
